On 2 October 2022 last year, roughly one day before the keel was laid of Queen Amy, the Laurentic Star Line had drawn a better and more effective war design for the #ship.

It became clear with the sinking of the 43.500 GRT liner Maranic that the dazzle painting design no longer worked for enemy submarines and that change was needed immediately.

However, during the first week of Queen Amy's construction her #war service was no longer needed in the Second Global War as the Allies were winning in Eurasia and on the southern part of the #Peekarica continent.

Queen Amy became the first postwar ship to do the regular passenger service on the Trans-Diamond Route between the United States of Peekarica and the western part of #Eurasia.
